Our GYMNIC ® products have been tested according to the European norm UNI-EN 71 Part 1, 2 and 3 of 12/1988 (chemical and mechanical analysis, safety check). To conform with the European norm, all products have been CE-marked by the European institute for analysis and research registered in Brussel.

  • The CE-marked for medical products is tested on the EC-Certificate after paragraphs II, V, VI and VII of EC-Instructions for medical devices 93/42/EWG.
  • Ledraplastic have run the test programme for Sitting - and Gymnastic balls.
  • Long-term use test under constant and dynamic pressure (according to DIN EN 71, T1/7.90)
  • Inflammability test (according to DIN EN 71, T2/1.94).
  • Formaldehyde content
  • Plasticisers content (in conformity with recommended levels for high-polymers)
  • Saliva and perspiration genuineness according to DIN 53160
  • Migration test of heavy metals according to DIN EN, part 3
  • Global migration with double distilled water according to DIN 38409H3
  • Internal air investigation for plasticisers, fluid-organic compounds and vinyl chloride
  • The balls do not contain formaldehyd; test results are clearly below tolerated and recommended range.
  • Fire performance of PVC sitting balls
  • Waste management of PVC sitting-balls
  • PVC sitting-balls in use at long-term work stations (tested at Technical University of Munich, Chair of Ergonomics)

For the security and upon special request from our customers and end-users, further testing procedures have been done with our products.
Furthermore, the raw material and the material composition of our products correspond to the regulations of the "Bundesinstitut fur gesundheitlichen Verbraucherschutz und Veterinarmedizin" (BgVV), the institute succeeding BGA. Our recycling-conception including gathering places has proofs a great success. Our products do not cause allergies and do not contain Latex. Ledraplastic stands for 100% quality products, developped by competent staff with experience and know-how for customers with highest requirements.

Customer Service

  • Our items are checked one by one before packaging. The control number (see the picture) is printed inside the single box, or on the bar code label (if the item is in polybag). The same control number is printed on the master carton too. In case of claim please quote this number to permit us to know time of production and identify the inspection operator.
